Today we launch the new single “Alive” which is a reminder to live from deep inside.

The deep, sultry vibe of this song was born through the lyrics — written as a love poem to the volcanic goddess Pele. 🌋🔥

I am devoted to the sacred island of Maui, and I stand in reverence of Pele’s powers of creation, destruction, and regeneration. Through her fiery power, she embodies the feminine force to create and birth the land we live upon, and the force to erupt and burn it down. 

Why would I write a love poem to a volcano? 🌋
Because burning with desire is a good thing when you’re made of lava. ❤️‍🔥
I explore that energy and my devotion to this goddess of creation as I feel her ALIVE in my own body and bones.

This song offers a musical translation of that passion, fire and sexuality through voice and expressive saxophone jams composed and played by Joshua Sam Miller and backing vocals by Angelica Hernandez.
