“Our Mother” is the first single from my forthcoming album LISTEN DEEP.

“Our Mother” is a sonic prayer to our oceans, set to a reggae beat and dreamy guitar riffs. Just as our bodies are born through the waters of our human mothers, all life on earth has come to be through the oceans.

This intentional rewriting of the Lord’s Prayer challenges the extractive view of nature as an ever-giving resource, reminding us that a healthy future depends on our care and protection for the sacred waters that rock our boats, nourish our bodies, and make our air.

RECIPROCITY is key; nature will continue to care for us, as long as we nurture and protect her.
